Insurance Coverage

Patients are asked to double check with their Insurance Plan to make sure Athletic Therapy is included in their policy depending on the workplace. So far, the following Insurance Companies and Organizations are known to have Athletic Therapy coverage:

If you wish to have Athletic Therapy added to your Insurance Plan, please refer to the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association website (www.athletictherapy.org) and click on “Insurance Coverage” to download a letter addressed specifically to Human Resources or your individual Insurance Company and mail them your request. The more people do this, the faster the CATA will get recognition and regulation for the service we provide.
